Song and Its Lyric

What is it about me with songs and their lyrics? I love listenin to songs, I m sure most of us do but I always have the tendency to concentrate more on the lyrics. A song truly attracts me when I m able to relate to the lyric that came together with it.

Like the song by Hinder I blogged about previously, I had the song for more than half a year, however I only came to realise what the story was about after listenin to it by chance that particular day. Perhaps when I listened to it before this, I couldn't incorporate the lyrics into my life, till now. I guess I connect better with lyrics rather than dramas or movies. Though sometimes a song does have its surreality as well.

When I m drawn to a certain song, I can repeat it non-stop, be it in my lappie or in my ipod. I was havin this urge yesterday to blog about another of my "lyrical moment" but came to think of it, I just blogged about one on Thursday.

Nevertheless, I can't fight my urge and I do find the need to share it :) This song, "Do I" by Luke Bryan was introduced to me by Ren Sin. It took me nearly one week to savour its beauty. His voice was so charming and the lyrics, simply exquisite. Out of curiosity, I went to watch the video on Youtube, saw the many comments there and realised that it was a song shared by many couples, either together or separated.

Like I've said, I m a lyrical person thus the lyrics appealed to me more than the music video itself. Hence I cannot find any meaning of my own in the video. So here I m, repeating the song for its hundredth time ever since yesterday.
